The Mountain Laurel is an exquisite 1,500 square foot 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage, featuring many handcrafted and hand-selected architectural pieces built by Peter and Val. From the unique mocha-flavored granite countertop to the cathedral white-washed spruce wood ceilings, this cottage exemplifies luxury. Dark maple wood beams accentuate the cherry gusset hardwood cabinets and leather décor. Every detail was thought out and is seen in every space. Expansive views, custom Amish furniture and a top-of-the-line MAAX hot tub are some of the features you will find on the huge wrap-around covered porch. Every room was professionally designed to combine luxury and convenience to allow for a relaxing and memorable vacation experience.

Enjoy various dining options including the 6-person dining room table, large breakfast bar, or bay window sitting area featuring a handcrafted live-edge wood table. Beautiful, hand-picked granite countertop lights up the room. The kitchen is equipped with top-notch stainless steel appliances including full-size refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, gas stove/oven, microwave, toaster and toaster oven. Each cabin includes a Keurig coffee maker complete with starter coffee pods, tea, hot chocolate, creamer, and sugar. Guests receive a complimentary welcome basket offering various snacks and cold drinks in the fridge.
Living Room
Get ready to get comfortable! Turn on the gas fireplace by the touch of a button and cozy up on the large sofa. Choose one of the two rocking and swivel recliners and you might just fall asleep. The comfortable queen-size sleeper sofa features a memory foam mattress (all linens provided). Ready to watch a sports game or that favorite TV show? Time to do it in luxury! Enjoy the 50” Samsung HD Smart TV with surround sound. Sony receiver has bluetooth connectivity so you can play your songs or media from your phone to the speaker system. Enjoy free high-speed 5G internet access. Don’t forget to lift up the top of the coffee table to see the games and puzzles inside.
Bedrooms
Both bedrooms feature king-size adjustable beds. Remote control allows for the perfect sleep position! Enjoy Samsung flat-screen TV’s in each bedroom. Ample storage space is provided in each bedroom for those choosing to stay with us longer.
Bathrooms
Exquisite bathrooms adorned in oil-rubbed bronze await you. The master bedroom has its own private combination tub/shower with a full glass enclosure while the common bathroom features a walk-in glass enclosed shower large enough for two! Each are beautifully tiled and have hand selected granite countertops. Complimentary soap, lotion, shampoo, and conditioner are also provided along with luxury towels, hair dryers and paper products.
Laundry
Hand-crafted barn doors, custom built by Peter, slide open to a full-size washer and dryer. Laundry detergent pods are provided.
Wrap-Around Porch
Our fan favorite! During the design phase, Pete and Val really wanted to share the tranquility and sounds of nature with their guests. The solution? A massive 1,000 square foot covered wrap-around porch! Beautiful views of the 23-acre estate are available from three sides of the cabin allowing you to relax in serenity while listening to birds chirping and squirrels frolicking. Relax in a top-of-the-line MAAX hot tub featuring chromotherapy, high velocity jets, waterfalls and more. Glide in the 2-person custom built Amish glider. Throw some hot dogs and burgers on the grill and take in the sounds and views while dining at the outdoor table.
