Yes! Our brand new Magnolia Cabin is dog-friendly and can fit up to two (2) well-behaved dogs. Our other three cabins are not dog-friendly at the moment. Please thoroughly read our dog policies below:
- The Magnolia cabin is dog-friendly for well-behaved dogs only. We do not accept any other animals except dogs. All dog-owners are responsible for ensuring no damage is done to the home, its contents and the 23-acre property. Any damage will be billed to the guest named on the reservation.
- We strongly suggest to bring your own additional dog sheets (to drape over any furniture or bedding that your pup may jump on) as well as dog towels to use for wiping paws and drying coats. (We will also have some dog towels and dog sheets for furniture for your use in the cabin). Fees will be assessed if excessive dog hair is found on any bedding or furniture. Dog food bowls and water bowls are supplied.
- Dogs are NOT allowed on any furniture or bedding unless dog sheets have been laid out to protect the furniture or bedding. A $250 fee will be assessed if we see excessive dog hair on the furniture, bedding or guest towels.
- We would strongly encourage you to crate your dog(s), if you are leaving them alone in the cabin. All damages to the cabin will be billed to the guest on file. We have crates available for use. Please contact us in advance to make our crate(s) available to you.
- All dogs must be kept up-to-date with flea/tick medications and all vaccinations.
- We have set a maximum of 2 dogs allowed in the Magnolia cabin. If bringing your dog(s), you must notify Asheville Country Cabins prior to arrival and pay the required dog fee(s). Any owner that brings a dog that is not registered with us prior to arrival will be required to pay the dog fee plus an additional $100.
- Our guest bath, hand, and wash towels are to be used for human use only. A fee equal to the cost of a new towel that is used for dogs will be assessed to the guest.
- Dogs MUST be leashed at all times when leaving the home.
- Dogs are not allowed in the pond.
- All pet waste must be picked up immediately, tied up, and placed in the supplied pet waste basket outside the cabin.
- Excessive barking greatly disturbs the ambiance of our property and the experience for our other guests. As such, excessive barking will not be tolerated. Excessive ‘barkers’ will be asked to leave along with their owners. All monies paid will be forfeited.
